Delete your account
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Deleting your account is permanent. Your chat history, food and exercise entries, daily logs, and profile are removed and cannot be restored.
Option 1 — delete it in the app
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
- Open Como.
- Go to Settings.
- Open the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Option 2 — ask us by email
If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and body metrics (weight, height, age, gender, targets).
- Every food and exercise entry, and all daily logs.
- Your full chat history, including submitted photos and voice notes.
- Your notification preferences and registered device tokens.
- Your authentication record, so the account can no longer be signed into.
What we may keep, and for how long
- Purchase and transaction records — retained where we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. These are held by the Apple App Store or Google Play as the seller of record, and by our subscription processor.
- Aggregated, anonymised diagnostics — crash and performance data that is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to re-identify you.
- Backups — residual copies may persist in encrypted infrastructure backups for a short period before being overwritten on their normal rotation.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Como account does not cancel an active Como Plus subscription, because subscriptions are billed by the app store rather than by us. Cancel it yourself before or after deleting your account:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Como → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Como → Cancel.
